Trip to the Borders

Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 February we made a trip to the Borders. Borders between Scotland and England.

I took more than 3 hundred pictures. So it's impossible to put all of them on this blog. I think the best and the more beautiful are on ! Thanks for your understanding ...

Rosslyn Chapel :

At the end of the movie Da Vinci Code you can see this chapel.

But the scene underground wasn't made in this chapel.

Where is the Holy Graal ???

Just under this stone in the middle of the picture !!!

Second place we went on saturday. Melrose Abbey. Nice, but I didn't understand what the guide said... So I took some pictures.

Night at the hostel. A bedroom for 8 men. It's the first time I sleep in this kind of bed since I left Rabais. Of course I slept over...

I miss Rabais !

Sunday.

After a small night we visited some roman remnants.

The more interesting we saw...

This is a picture from the Hadrian's wall. Very nice view. We were lucky because the sun was shinning.

Hadrian's wall.

Picture of all the group on the Hadrian's wall.

Picture from the bus. How it's possible to spent so much time in a bus. 7 hours on saturday and 7 hours on sunday. My legs was broken.

Last but not least. Our Sleepy Hollow international ! Johannes.

You need to be fit for the Super team day !!!

Allez (Come on)

Quelle est la meilleure? A vous de choisir en mettant des commentaires.

Trip to Loch Ness

Saturday 9 February we made a trip to the Loch Ness with the International Society. Here are the pictures 2 weeks later !!!

The Urquhart castle, near the lack. A very old castle but very nice. I'm so bad in History that I can't tell you more on it... All I know it's this castle were destroyed and rebuilt a lot of time !

Nessie !!! (no more comment)

The lack of the Loch Ness. Maybe there's someone on? If you look in the low of the picture you can see something ?

Reinhard and me. The 2 officials Nessie Hunters !!! Who want to join us? But registration is not free... It's a private and closed club.

But everyone don't agree with me.

Wednesday night fever !!!

I decided to put some comments in english for all the Erasmus students here who don't understand the other pictures before !

Wednesday we went to the Paramount. It's a pub (it looks like a discotheque) where all the members of the international societies (society that organize some trip around the Scotland).
It's a "Kitch" place but funny...

A strange guy and me. Why strange? Because he danced next me with a "gay attitude"... But it's a nice guy !!!

What a girl ! She can take a lot of glasses in her hands. Unfortunately there are all empty. It's nothing, it's for another time.

Reinhard looks happy but he wasn't. Why? Because Austria lost against Germany in a friendly game... How much? I don't remember. Oh yes ! 0-3. Don't worry, it's for the next time (Viva Austria)

But Maren was happy (because she's German). Maybe it's wasn't for the result of the game but she was happy anyway.

I decided to convert me to the Buddhism. Why? I don't know really. Maybe because there to drink there (look below the statue).
All the church here are pub's or anything else where you can listen music, drink, dance and meet a lot of people.

What a nice picture ! What do you thing about it Reinhard. If you want I will give you?

It's a nice picture too with Line and Claudia who had fun...

Two people : one is drinking and the other is thinking (about what? I don't. I have to ask him the question)

Always a nice picture with (in order) : François (Belgium), Claudia and Fabio (Italy) and Léa (Switzerland).

It's the end of the pictures. I can't put more and everybody. It will be for the next time. Each turn !!!

Next pictures are for the trip in the Loch Ness. See you on Saturday (Sunday because I have to put the pictures on the blog).

The next time, the comments will be in French. Sometimes in English, sometimes in French. It takes for everyone !

Football game in Aberdeen

A ticket for a game in Aberdeen.
--> Aberdeen versus Motherwell.
I hope the game will be funny and that Aberdeen will win.
I bought two tickets with Reinhard (a friend from Austria) and we tried to buy ticket for the UEFA Cup game versus Bayern Munich on e-bay. The places were in 70€, it's too much for students like us...
We have to wait 3 weeks for the match !!! (it's too long)

Here the stadium of Aberdeen. There are 20,000 places. Do you think that 20,000 can make noice in a stadium. Of course because we will be there on the 27 february... Maybe we will buy a scarfe, a cap or a T-shirt to support the team?

Ce soir Big party dans la ville. Qui dit big party dit a lot of pictures...
